Sad News. Tim Harrington of Austin, Texas passed away in mid-February 2024 from a heart attack. His Memorial Service is 2/29/2024 2 pm, @ Austin Ridge Bible Church in Westlake.


The Above Photo was taken by Jim Innes during his Podium Eulogy talk for Tim Harrington. To Say the Westlake Austin Ridge Bible Church memorial service was PACKED, would be an understatement. Tim Harrington was a good man, and friend of many. He was relatable, authentic, funny, caring and social.

2/29/24 at 2 PM at Austin Ridge Bible Church at 9300 Bee Cave Rd, Austin, TX 78733 in Westlake.
At the Worship Center building.

GVM speaking here, "Tim showed up on my 40th birthday at Pitch N Putt for an afternoon of golf and bullshit. Tim was in good spirits that afternoon after boasting of his mega million dollar commercial fresh sale in SoCo. St. Elmo @ the ol' Hills Cafe.  

Tim was a former SOUTHWESTERN door to door salesman and alumnus like me. A fellow bookman.

Tim showed up @ my BookPeople booksigning event, for the "The Nation We Live In."

  Overall Tim was a good man and character. A worthy Austinite! 

Tim Harrington was quick to make friends. Just in February, randomly Tim and I participated in 3 straight days of Champions Real Estate School (off Hwy 620 & US 183) for full day required classes. Tim made it enjoyable! He even made friends with 2 different course instructors! Tim died of a Heart Attack. He was too young to be physically gone from this earth forever.

This is sad news, I'll miss seeing him at Barton Springs & Deep Eddy Pools & @ local area Sports Games.

 SHOULD YOU BUY a "FLIPPED" HOUSE?  Have you personally ever considered and wondered if you, yourself should BUY  a "flipped house." In my 15+ years of predominantly residential Central Austin brokerage practice and experience, here are my insights, opinions, suggestions and things to be cognizant of.  #1. Absolutely, for sure get a LICENSED INSPECTION on the flipped house! Not all flippers are the same. Just like in life there is a wide spectrum in regards to quality. Some flippers are flat out awful. They make very lipstick-like improvements, skip the expensive items such as the foundation, and plumbing and try to trick the consumer into paying more for a home, when the consumer shouldn't.  On the Flip Side (this joke was just too obvious) There are also excellent high-quality flippers whom selectively choose which homes they flip, and then they invest carefully and beautifully while genuinely  improving a home!
