Introducing FORTHRIGHT. Discovered! Hello there. While on my routine bicycle cruise around Town Lake, I found a NEW Downtown CAFE with a Patio . It has been open since July 2016, I think. It has an excellent imbibing friendly outdoor Patio . It also serves BREAKFAST and opens at 7 am! Coffee, Lunch, Dinner, Breaks, Meet Ups, etc. Steps from Both the FOUR SEASON HOTEL, Downtown, and Lady Bird Lake Austin. Forthright is a cafe with a leafy patio just south of Cesar Chavez and Brazos; a quiet cul-de-sac by Ladybird Lake where the street ends (with free surface parking). We make simple things, prepared well, using straightforward ingredients. In the morning we pour Sightglass coffee. At happy hour we stir no-fuss cocktails. Enjoy an English muffin with a fried egg at breakfast, a Ni├žoise salad at lunch or just a late afternoon burger before heading out. You know this menu.
