Is the Buyer Required to Provide the Lender's Contact Info to the Listing Side?

State of Texas, Real Estate Question of the Day.  Is the Buyer REQUIRED to provide their Lender's direct name and contact information to the Listing Agent and property seller?  Answer. ( Per Texas  Association Realtors Free Legal Hotline ) No. The buyer is not contractually REQUIRED to provide their mortgage lender's direct name and contact information to the listing agent and seller So George Vance, what are your personal opinions as an everyday "out in the field" working Real Estate on this question and topic?  In my humble opinion and mine only, I do think it is couterous, beneficial and even ADVANTAGOUS for the buyer's agent and buyer to provide a Pre-Qualification and Mortgage Lender's letter with their offer & for Luxury showings above 1 million, even before the showing.
