On the local level, ABoR believes cities should use existing tools at their disposal to address nuisance properties, crack down on bad actors, and protect the health and safety of tenants, property owners, and community members. STR regulations infringe on a property owner’s ability to conduct business without government interference. In addition, these regulations are often duplicative, ineffective, and intrusive to property owners and tenants.   ABoR doesn’t advocate at the State level, so we do not have a position on state activity as it relates to STRs.
