Take Action to Help Keep Property Taxes Low per ABOR Advocacy

  Make Your Voice Heard! On July 29, the Austin City Council is scheduled to adopt the maximum tax rate that can be used in developing the City of Austin’s budget for FY 2021-22. With limited housing inventory and soaring prices coupled with escalating property tax bills, Austin homeowners simply cannot afford to carry additional property tax burden. The Austin Board of REALTORS® is asking all members to email the Austin City Council to advocate for the adoption of a maximum tax rate that is at or below the rate proposed by the City Manager.
