When people move to Austin, Texas one of the main draws, at least for humans under the age of 40, is Austin's vibrant Live Music Scene. The Red River District embodies this entirely. The Empire Control Room has both intimate indoor and larger outdoor stages. I paid $19 bucks to witness "Y'all Out Boy" a 90's, Aughts Emo Rock, Cover Band. They were excellent. I also got to witness Empire's inside stage, where a 90's era traditional pop cover band was playing. Think Wheatus Teenage Dirtbag Baby. It was fun! Live Music in Austin still lives for now.
