The Austin City Limits Music Festival 2024 Experience.

Austin City Limits Music Festival 2024.

GVM's Customer In person attendance Review / Synopsis

Friday; Blink 182 sounded awful live, which was sad. I was a genuine fan, but all world banging drummer Travis Barker's talent could not save the 2 front-men's lingering age, lack of caring effort and just bad musical sounds.

Chris Stapleton was much better on the ears! One of the female patrons said his appeal is, "the beard and the voice." I would agree his music is much more welcoming and country, but not too country if you know what I mean.

Saturday: Foster the People sounded pretty good live. They are a contemporary band in the 2010-2019 Decade. Their band comps are MgMt and maybe Tame Impala.

The Headliner Showstopper was Dua Lipa. She is a worldly model-level beauty. She is also talented, superb voice, upbeat popular songs and Dancy fun. One of my Top 5 All time ACL ever Performances, right up there with Paul McCartney, George Strait & the Killers.

Sunday; I only had time to pick up my lounge chair and watch the Rise and fall Midwest Pop sensation Chappell Roan. She packed Zilker Park! She is super popular. 26 year old Chappell was excellent with her stage presence, fashion style, lead singer moves and songs. "Pink Pony Club," "Good Luck Babe," Hot to Go."

This year in 2024, the weather very HOT for October. The outside weather all 3 days was arid, dry and full of dead grass. The Beers each averaged around 12-14 dollars after tax, 1 dollar tip etc.

Absolutely, for sure get a LICENSED INSPECTION on the flipped house! Not all flippers are the same. Just like in life there is a wide spectrum in regards to quality. Some flippers are flat out awful. They make very lipstick-like improvements, skip the expensive items such as the foundation, and plumbing and try to trick the consumer into paying more for a home, when the consumer shouldn't.  On the Flip Side (this joke was just too obvious) There are also excellent high-quality flippers whom selectively choose which homes they flip, and then they invest carefully and beautifully while genuinely  improving a home! Some of these hi-quality upper tier flippe...

Per TheATX1 (@The ATX) on Twitter: Here are the Future Development Plans for West 6th and Lamar in Old West Austin, near Downtown, ATX.

This is a massing of the 6th & Lamar (Waterloo Records site) residential project based on the Planning Commission approved zoning. The original plans before a compromise was reached with the local neighborhood association called for a building 31' and two or three floors taller.
