GVM Alumni Game Report. I personally went and it was a beautiful, sunny, cool, crisp morning, mid-day. Luckily my lacrosse playing services were NOT required today. There were ample more youthful, think 20-29, twentysomething alumni who still had gear and or played lacrosse college. The Chalmers field was a bit wet and muddy, so cleat shoes would have been necessary. The New AHS Coach is Coach Brennan. Coach Brennen stated he used to coach for the University of Texas Lacrosse Club. The Austin High School played and fought valiantly, but I think the AHS Alumni won the game by a couple goals. Plenty of fans and parents in attendance. Overall good stuff. Lot of stick checks, but not as much hitting in the game as my era;1996-2000.
Per TheATX1 (@The ATX) on Twitter: Here are the Future Development Plans for West 6th and Lamar in Old West Austin, near Downtown, ATX.
This is a massing of the 6th & Lamar (Waterloo Records site) residential project based on the Planning Commission approved zoning. The original plans before a compromise was reached with the local neighborhood association called for a building 31' and two or three floors taller.
